Lakefront Layout is the easiest way to design and configure a ShoreStation dock layout.
A high speed or broadband connection is recommended to run this program.
How It Works The Basics
Below are the basic steps to begin designing a dock. Detailed Lakefront Layout Instructions are available in downloadable pdf format, which can be viewed and printed using Adobe Acrobat Reader version 4.05 or greater.
- Layout the Sections
Click on the Add a Section
icon to begin adding dock sections of specified width. Change section widths by selecting a different width from the pull down menu. You can delete sections at any time by simply selecting them and clicking the trash button.
- Accessorize
Select a dock section, and specify the side (left or right) where you want the accessory placed, then click on the accessory you would like to add.
- Finish Up
When your basic layout is completed, add end boards to the end sections by selecting the section and clicking on the End Board
icon. - Next, select each dock section and add leg frames by.
- Choosing "Standard" for Stationary Dock or "Roll-In" for Rolling Dock
- Entering the deck to bed measurement
- Clicking on the Leg Frame

- Generate a Materials List
Click on the
icon to generate a basic material list from your design. The components will be based on the Aluminum dock sections with poly sideboards. This material list is for quoting purposes only and should be verified by a ShoreStation dealer before any purchase is made.
