ShoreStation Unveils Innovative New Canopy
IDA GROVE, IOWA (August 2018) — ShoreStation, an Iowa-based manufacturer of boat lift and dock systems, is launching the “Revolution Series Canopy,” an innovative, roll-up boat lift cover. Designed for simple installation and superior protection, this canopy adds to ShoreStation’s nearly 60 years of waterfront product innovation.
Developed in ShoreStation’s state-of-the-art manufacturing facility, the Revolution Series Canopy has a modern canopy style, while also implementing new features. The cover is manufactured to eliminate the folding and lifting of traditional models with a “roll and store” design. To install the canopy, users unroll it over the frame and lock it in place.
An added benefit of the product is that it can simply be rolled up and stored on the frame itself for safekeeping and during the off-season. The vinyl-coated polyester canopy includes a waterproof textured matte finish — combining a strong, sleek appearance with the weather-resistant durability of vinyl. A rigid 20-inch trussed side frame gives the canopy a strong structure, with the remote-controlled ShoreScreen providing additional convenience and protection.
“We are excited to redefine boat lift canopies with this new product,” said Jon Devitt, Chief Product Officer at Midwest Industries, Inc. “This canopy offers the protection of a boat house, and eliminates any hassling with difficult boat covers, helping our customers get right to the good times on the water.”
ShoreStation’s new canopy is available in several color options, lengths of 24–36 feet, and widths to match 100- to 144-inch-wide ShoreStation lifts. For more information, view the Revolution Series product page, and visit the Dealer Locator to find a retail location near you.
